Curriculum
At the Primary and Intermediate Levels, the development of fundamental intellectual skills is emphasized.
The Westbridge High School curriculum, which is humanities-based, is designed to harness the student’s reasoning power and thinking skills. The disciplines in the curriculum offer students the opportunity to respond dynamically to the changing needs of society, while at the same time upholding and practicing the unchanging values of the Christian.
The Science curriculum aims at developing careful and disciplined observation of nature and its proper cultivation for the improvement of the quality of human life. Students learn the experimental and analytical methods, which help students understand and appreciate nature, and the use of science in daily life. Learning science involves the knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts and processes required for personal decision making, participation in civic and cultural affairs, and economic productivity.
The Mathematics program aims at developing analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, reasoning, communication, and making connections, representations and decisions in real life. The program’s objective is achieved as the students attain proficiency in mathematical concepts and keenness in discovering relationships and concepts.
The English program aims to hone the proclivity for languages into an effective tool for oral and written communication when and in expressing the truth. The program includes courses in writing, speaking and grammar. Literature focuses on forming students, through literary masterpieces that are effectual in enriching values and widening horizons, reflective of the universality of human experience and in keeping with Christian ideals. It includes selections from classical, traditional, and modern literature.
Philosophy, or love of wisdom, aims to equip students to distinguish different levels of knowledge – scientific, empirical, philosophical and religious to achieve unity and harmony in learning, thinking, and living. It also aims to apply philosophical concepts in everyday life such as the dignity of the human person, freedom and responsibility, principle of causality, and change. Students learn how to analyze, evaluate, and understand developments and issues related to man’s origin, faith and science. The Theology program focuses on the purpose of Christian life and the means to live a personal relationship with God, and consequently, love for others, in one’s daily occupations.

Filipino, which aims to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of our cultural heritage in thoughts and deeds;
Home Economics, where students learn home management, childcare and culinary arts, this subject aims to uphold the dignity of women, the love for the home and the family;
Art, which encourages creative expression, characterized by individuality, honesty and beauty, that would lead to the aspiration for things that enrich the human spirit;
Physical Education, which aims to promote skills necessary for a well-balanced, clean and healthy lifestyle and the development of a sound mind and body through sports.
Subjects
GRADES 1-10
ICT Classes for Grade School
For SY 2021-2022, ICT for grade school is not a separate subject but is integrated in the different subjects. Computer class is given according to the demands of the assessments/tasks required of the students.
Students are taught how to navigate/use Google Sites and Google Classrooms, Google Meet, Zoom, Google forms, etc.
Emphasis is also given on digital citizenship (especially in Grade School) and on practical skills that will be needed for their assessments.
Academic Strand Offerings for Senior High School
PAREF Rosehill is currently offering two academic strands: Humanities and Social Sciences Strand (HUMSS) and General Academic Strand (GAS) with electives from Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand and Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand. The other two strands – STEM and ABM may also be offered in the future.
Course Offerings for Grades 11 and 12
Regardless of the strand, each Senior High School student will have to take 31 subjects: 15 core subjects, and 16 track subjects, 7 of which are contextualized track subjects while the remaining 9 subjects are specialized subjects.

PAREF Rosehill is implementing the R.I.S.E. learning program for SY 2021-2022 which is the completely online. Should the health situation improve, there may be a transition to a hybrid of face-to-face and online learning.
